Mediation Training Institute is a subsidiary of Atlanta Divorce Mediators, Inc., and has been in existence since the early 1990's.  At MTI, we train people to become mediators and to enhance their skills with advanced courses. We are an approved training for registration for the state of Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, as well as Cobb County, Georgia.  We can offer the twenty-eight (28) hour General/Civil/Business Mediation Training  as well as the twelve (12) hour Observation Practicum on an agency specific basis. 

A variety of learning methods will be employed at this training, including informational simulations and group exercises.  In addition, numerous mediation processes and implementation techniques will be presented and analyzed.  Participants will have the opportunity to compare notes, ask specific questions and benefit from low faculty/participant ratio.  Each participant will receive a video taped copy of themselves mediating during the role-plays.  We have found this to be an excellent "extra' training device.  It is an excellent way for them to listen to their tone of voice, watch their body language and their facial expressions while mediating.
